Ah, it was ok3By bnafreerNothing to write home about. Decent amount of gore, some good jump scenes.
...and the kitchen sink1By Wild Open SpaceThis is the most heavy-handed mainstream horror film I’ve ever seen. It uses every trope and trick that’s in the book, and moves at a breakneck speed to fit them all in. And while the story moves quickly, some scenes and shots feel long, like the timing in editing is not right. There are so many characters with side stories that you spend the entire film wondering which one you’re actually supposed to be following. I’d say this was worth the $1 —based purely on the price, but wouldn’t give it more than 2/10.
Pretty Bad2By Mikedahit1738You cant call this a "horror" film if all there is is jumpscares and gore.
If I could give it zero stars I would1By psiepnickNot nearly as good as the original
Consulted narrative wastes talent.3By robbie_wethingtonNot terrible, but far from great. The film’s largest problem is that it takes on entirely too many narratives, making it as convoluted as it is predictable. Had they focused on just one of the four intertwined narratives, it may have faired better, especially considering some of the talent they were able to cast (John Cho, Lin Shaye, Jackie Weaver).
Someone has a Grudge against the Original version2By 16 HORSESThe first Grudge was great and the Sarah Michelle Gellar version while seemingly like Scaring the Hell out of Buffy was still legitimate! What the crap 💩 is this 2020 mess calling itself The Grudge! Another reboot, remake, re-whatever that we didn’t request for!

No.... Just no..1By Hana-chan01This a a perfect example of “go back and do it again”.. 😑😑 it lacks suspense and there are too many jump scares. The originals are much better... Shame on you Sam Raimi...
