Listen to this record. You will be an EAGLE!!!5By Markey1997I remember when I first heard this album going to the beach. I don't have a favorite eagles album because they are all amazing albums, but this is the first eagles album that made me love the eagles. It is such a beautiful album that everyone should listen to. Everyone criticizes it saying it is the worst eagles album out of all of them. Well, they are full of s--t. This is an amazing album. "Tequila Sunrise" is a peaceful song. "Bitter Creek" is my favorite from this record. Just listen to this record. It is one of my favorite records of all time. Just listen to the eagles man. LOVE YA GLENN FREY!!!! RIP!!!!
The Best of My Love5By RoadWarriorPrincessAs much as I loved Hotel California in the later years, Desperado will always have a special place in my heart. Following the 70s trend of concept albums, Eagles released a Wildwest story of outlaw living, adventure and regret. I listened to this album in rotation with David Bowie, Mott the Hoople, Yes, Jethro Tull, early Springsteen and Fleetwood Mac throughout my freshman year of college. Besides the great memories it evokes, it has solid musicality: from the instrumentation to the lyrics, it's a very good and very underrated album. If you're going to listen, do it from start to finish, as it was intended. And sipping on a tequila sunrise while doing so would not be inappropriate.
Certain Kind of Daughter5By GoogleIsAwesome‼️‼️‼️😍😍😘ILOVE CERTAIN KIND OF FOOL AND THE WHOLE ALBUM. MY DAD GOT ME INTO THIS. CHECK OUT HIS ALBUM SOUNDS LIKE FRESH.
Their most underrated album5By JennifersmanThe Eagles first album was a good, if uneven affair. But for Desperado they took a huge (and daring) step forward creatively with this concept album about old west gunslingers. From the brief first song “Doolin-Dalton” you can tell this will be a much different album as the western imagery seems to present itself to you like a John Ford or Sam Peckinpah western. Although this album is best known for the classic title cut and “Tequila Sunrise”, songs like “Saturday Night” and “Outlaw Man” could’ve been hits too. And the raucous “Out of Control” has to be the rowdiest song they've ever done. The Eagles always had strong leanings to country-rock thanks to guitarist Bernie Leadon, and this album is really a showcase for his abilities on acoustic guitar, banjo, dobro and mandolin. Desperado is definitely the most underrated of the band’s albums.
Great album!!5By Sin37890But if your going to buy, just one song, off this album. Bitter creek, should be it!!

Singer-Song Writer🎤5By jwlorre"And this is where it all began" quoted from Glen Frye about the song 'Take it Easy' co-written by Glen Frye and Jackson Browne in there "Hell Freezes Over" tour... But "This is where it all began" for me with this story-telling album, Desperado.... 5 stars on all of the album. Great change for music during the "70's". Very innovating and a great risk to take at that time. Awesome risk to take. But, oh so worth it!!
