Hirie Set To Release, Dreamer

Hirie is back with their third album, Dreamer, and it’s poised to be one of their all time classics. Dreamer is a big departure from their previous albums due to the upbeat pacing in the majority of the songs. Their new sound captures the emotional state Hirie band members have felt in the past three years and how they’ve evolved. Dreamer plans to be released on September 6th via Controlled Substance Records.

The song that best demonstrates their new sound is the ska-reggae cut, “I Like The Way You Roll.” The bursting drums and bouncing guitar rhythms initially catches you off guard, but slowly grows on you. Hirie front woman, Trish Jetton, also uses her powerful vocals to match the more prominent instrumentals.

You can listen to “I Like The Way You Roll” below:

The rest of Dreamer has a similar sound to “I Like The Way You Roll”, but also incorporates some slower paced songs for fans of their previous albums. If you liked “I Like The Way You Roll”, then you can pre-order the album at www.hiriemusic.com
