In an interview with Anderson Cooper, Elton John made it clear that his life has changed too much to keep on touring. John told Cooper, “My priorities in my life are now my children, my husband and my family.” John remarked that it’s crucially important to be apart of your child’s life when they’re young.

John also talked about how the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour is “a way of going out with a bang.” The tour will be filled with amazing visuals and music that takes attendees throughout his illustrious career.

The tour will officially kick off in Allentown, PA at the PPL Center, Sep. 8. In early 2019, Elton John will extend his tour to Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. Tickets will go on sale on Feb. 2, 10 AM and can be purchased here: eltonjohn.com/tours
