Chvrches – Under the Tide

Released: 2014

Directed by Sing J. Lee

The video for “Under The Tide”, is a mixture of anime, a Tron type theme, and the band members of Chvrches performing in front of a black background. The story-line consists of two animated astronauts being ship wrecked in space and slowly falling in love. Throughout the video, a square grid similar to the movie, Tron, appears to form multiple environments. The members of Chvrches also make several appearances in the video to provide a break from the random images that are constantly flashing.

Chvrches – Gun

Released: 2013

Directed by PENSACOLA

“Gun” shows the members of Chvrches being warped by different shapes and kaleidoscope images. In the video, the constant change in Chvrches’ appearances creates an aesthetically pleasing experience that will keep you hooked. Many videos have played with the same kaleidoscopic concept; however, “Gun” is unique in its constant barrage of different image formations.

Chvrches – The Mother We Share
