Lady Gaga – Bad Romance

Released: 2009

Directed by Francis Lawrence

The video for “Bad Romance” starts with Lady Gaga being kidnapped and arriving in an all white bath house. Lady Gaga spends the rest of the video being wrapped in dazzling diamonds and dancing for domineering men. The overall point of the video is to show how women are still being exploited in the music industry.

Zedd – Find You ft. Matthew Koma, Miriam Bryant

Released: March 2014

Directed by Jodeb

In the video for “Find You”, two strangers cross paths and fall in love at first sight. The two women end up being chased by a flock of crows, but narrowly escape them. The digital graphics of the crows and explosions of colors during the chorus’ makes “Find You” one of the most aesthetically pleasing videos to watch.
